CONTRACT:
By submitting your payment, you are agreeing to the following Terms & Conditions. These Terms & Conditions are absolutely non-negotiable.
Helen Medlin Princess Parties, LLC reserves the right to terminate service at any given point, without refund, should any of the following Terms & Conditions be violated and/or ignored.
PRICING:
Helen Medlin Princess Parties, LLC holds the right to change any pricing on their website and social media either up or down at any given time. The price that you pay is always confirmed ahead of time and you will always pay what we quote to you directly in our correspondence. If our pricing does go up or down after we have confirmed a price with you in an email/message, then you will still pay what was quoted to you - provided that your booking is paid for within 1 week of that quote.
PAYMENT:
Helen Medlin Princess Parties, LLC requires a non-refundable payment of your balance up-front, and in full to secure your booking. Your date/time will not be reserved until the full payment is received. Payment is collected through PayPal Goods & Services. We are a licensed and insured LLC registered with PayPal business and lose a percentage of every payment to offer our clients the protection and security of PayPal Goods & Services. At the time of your booking, your payment is used to compensate the individual who worked to book your party, provide the automated scheduling service, and to guarantee your performer(s) availability. Our scheduling system is automated so that dates, times, characters, and performers are blocked off on a first come first serve basis. All payments are non-refundable to guarantee compensation to our cast. We all have full time jobs and request off in advance for your dates/times/events. We begin turning away clients who want your character(s) at the same date/time from the moment payment is received.
RESCHEDULE:
If you must change the date or time of your reservation, please contact us as early as possible so we can reschedule with courtesy to your performer; all new dates are subject to cast/character availability. Visits can be rescheduled without penalty until 2 weeks ahead of original booking date/time.
CANCELLATIONS:
There is no refund with client cancellations. Cancellation of the engagement by you, the client, for any reason shall forfeit the payment in full. Partial Refunds in the case of reasonable unforeseen circumstances are addressed on an individual bases and determined directly by communication with our company owner.
If the client or Helen Medlin Princess Parties, LLC must cancel the engagement due to a true emergency -Act of God, “Force Majeure”, riot, strike, epidemic, or by the order of any public authority - all payments shall be refunded in full and both parties shall have no further recourse against each other.
GRATUITY:
Tips are not included within the total balance. They are however accepted on the party date and greatly appreciated by the performers. If you would like to tip your performer, cash is preferred. If cash is not convenient, we also accept:

TRAVEL:
A travel fee of $1/mile is required if the party or event location is outside a 25 mile radius of our base in zip code 30068. Travel is not included in the full payment, but can be paid ahead of time or given to the performer or their assistant on the day of your party. Cash is preferred, but we also accept:

SAFETY:
Helen Medlin Princess Parties, LLC and associated performers, entertainers, attendees, and/or assistants reserve the right to leave your event at any given point during the visit, without notice and without refund if they feel harassed, unsafe, or threatened in any way. We reserve the right to refuse service if we deem the working conditions/environment as hostile, harmful, hazardous, or unsanitary. Our cast will not be subject to verbal or physical intimidation, insult, or discomfort under any circumstances. We retain our right to terminate services immediately and cease all contact and association without refund or notice should these policies not be respected.
ACCIDENT OR DAMAGE POLICY:
Helen Medlin Princess Parties, LLC and any/all associated performers, entertainers, attendees, and/or assistants are not liable for any damages or injuries that may occur at any particular party or event. we are NOT responsible or liable for any injury, illness, or unfavorable experience as a result of or in relation to any interaction. By submitting your payment, you are accepting, acknowledging, understanding, and willingly assuming known and unknown risks associated with participation with Helen Medlin Princess Parties, LLC. there are risks that may arise due to other children and adults at the event or activity, which you must also willingly assume. In addition, if you observe any hazard during our participation, please bring it to our attention immediately. You are agreeing to hold and keep harmless Helen Medlin Princess Parties, LLC, any/all associated performers, entertainers, attendees, assistants from any and all property damages and/or bodily injury caused by anything or anyone. we are NOT responsible for any unfavorable occurrence to any persons or properties for any client or company.
COMPETING COMPANIES:
There will be no costumed character entertainers from companies other than Helen Medlin Princess Parties, LLC at the event without prior written consent. We are NOT responsible for the actions of any entertainer from a different company or for the actions of guests of the client.
ALLERGIES:
You must inform Helen Medlin Princess Parties, LLC of any and all participants’ allergies to food or products such as nail polish, latex, acrylics, temporary tattoos, and/or face paints prior to your event or party. Helen Medlin Princess Parties, LLC and any/all performers, entertainers, attendees, assistants are NOT responsible or liable for any injuries or reactions that occur at your event.
PHOTOGRAPHY:
Helen Medlin Princess Parties, LLC is not responsible for any actions accident or damage as a result of the working with photographers. Any photographs or videos of your visit are for personal use only, unless you receive written consent from Helen Medlin Princess Parties, LLC.
Please note that we often share event photos on our website and on social media. If you do not want photos placed on our website and social media, you will need to let Helen Medlin Princess Parties, LLC know in advance. These photos will in no way be used to create merchandise or be sold to the public, only to promote and show potential customers a true representation of what they can expect when booking with us. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy, please do not hesitate to ask.
MONETIZATION:
The client can not charge a fee of any kind to photograph, interact with, or see the party, event or performer unless you obtain written permission from Helen Medlin Princess Parties, LLC.
ADULT SUPERVISION:
An adult must supervise in the same room/space as the performer(s)/entertainer(s) at all times and handle any disruptive guest’s behavior. Our characters are not babysitters and at least one guardian must be present for the entire duration of the booking.
You as the hostess/host, client, and/or the child’s parent, are responsible for any behavior problems or issues during the party. Our Entertainers will not assume responsibility for providing any disciplinary action or instruction during a party. if any issues do arise, then it is the parent or guardian’s sole responsibility to issue any corrections and deal with all disruptive behavior.
RAIN OR SHINE:
Please be conscious of the environment of the location provided for the event and have a safe alternative location ready in the event of rain, strong winds and excessive heat; for example, a sheltered area or indoor location. If travel is deemed unsafe by local weather officials on the day of your event, your event will need to be rescheduled. We will not be doing any outside parties if the temperature exceeds 85 degrees, or drops below 45 degrees. If you choose an outside party, the location must be free of excessive dirt and mud. Our performers are wearing high-end costumes and wigs that cannot risk being stained or wind-blown. The performer(s) reserves the right to leave the location if they are being subjected to rain, wind, or heat that is damaging to the costume(s) or wig(s). On sunny days, please provide a completely shaded/covered area for the entertainer(s)/performer(s) and all activities they conduct.
TRAFFIC/TARDINESS:
Helen Medlin Princess Parties, LLC and associated entertainer(s)/performer(s)/attendee(s) are not responsible for tardiness caused by traffic conditions or any other factors outside the control of nature. As long as we are not attending an event immediately following yours, we will stay longer to make up the time difference for any delayed arrival, free of any additional charge.
ADDITIONAL ATTENDEES:
We often bring an additional attendee, associate, performer, entertainer, and/or cast member to act as an “event assistant” to shadow the primary character and assist with transportation, as well as to ensure our safety as we keep the magic alive & event running smoothly. The assistant is not guaranteed and only attends events per the request of the primary character performer, unless otherwise requested by the client. You, the client, are welcome to request an attendant for an additional. There is no additional charge for the assistant’s attendance if it is not requested by the client. They will always be recognizable in company costuming/attire/merchandise.
SOUND SYSTEM:
Singing/performing characters will need a sound system/microphone if the party is held in an event space larger than a typical living room/backyard, or if a large/loud number of guests is anticipated. We will not scream over adults/children in order to be heard. If requested, we are able to provide a small portable bluetooth speaker for music or a small PA system with 1 microphone to be used only by Helen Medlin Princess Parties performers. The equipment we are able to provide will not suffice for large, outdoor, or staged visits. Please inform Helen Medlin Princess Parties, LLC of the sound system set up and expectations BEFORE your event.
COPYRIGHT: Helen Medlin Princess Parties, LLC does not intend to violate any copyright laws. Our characters are not name brand copyrighted characters. Our characters are generic in costume and in the public domain. We only accept bookings from individuals who are aware that we do not represent any licensed character. If you are seeking licensed, copyrighted characters, you will need to contact the copyright holders. Helen Medlin does NOT offer licensed characters as to not violate any copyright laws. Our characters are in NO WAY affiliated, licensed or associated with any corporation or trademark.
